Summer evenings with a difference
Superb horse racing and live music - from only €15
Leopardstown Racecourse and Bulmers have announced plans for a unique series of summer events taking place on Thursday evenings, for six nights over the summer. Dublin’s only racecourse will be transformed, taking on all the atmosphere of a music festival combined with Leopardstown’s traditional high quality racing, and all for a ticket price from just €15.
Bjorn Again, Aslan, Director, The Stunning, The Coronas and The Saw Doctors will all line up to provide the soundtrack to a unique entertainment experience.
Members of the band Director, who will be performing at 'Bulmers Live at Leopardstown' this summer. The series of summer events taking place on Thursday evenings, for six nights over the summer, from June 18th to August 13th.
For €30 the Bulmers Summer Feast ticket includes admission, a long neck Bulmers Original, Light or Pear, a race card and options from the Summer Feast menu.
The Summer Buffet package, priced at €65, will be located in the Leopardstown Pavilion. Guests can enjoy a three course buffet at their own reserved table with a racing tipster to guide them through the evening’s race card. The Pavilion has a spectacular view of the racetrack and overlooks the finishing straight.

Bjorn Again take to the stage on June 18th and are set to show why they have been wowing international audience for over 20 years, and why they are the only ABBA tribute band to be officially endorsed by the original band members.
On July 9th, Dublin’s favourite sons and one of the country’s hardest working bands, Aslan, will perform a set from their arsenal of hits. The band’s 25 year career has seen them sell out Dublin’s Point Theatre on numerous occasions and they have just released a new album 'UNCASEd' to widespread critical acclaim.
Hot on the heels of their newly released and already lauded 2nd album, I’ll Wait For Sound, Director will hit the stage on Thursday, July 16th. Director have been compared to Joy Division and New Order and are tipped to make waves on the international music scene this summer.
July 23rd sees the Wall brothers and co., otherwise known as The Stunning, playing what is sure to be one of their legendary live performances. Since forming in 1987, the Stunning have broken up and reformed twice and play only a select number of gigs each year.
The Coronas play Bulmers Live at Leopardstown on August 6th. The four Dubliners will be on home turf and with hits like San Diego Song and Grace Don’t Wait the homecoming reception is due to be rapturous.
Legendary Galway boys, The Saw Doctors round up the Bulmers Live at Leopardstown series on August 13th. Their unique sound has been described as pop, punk, rock ‘n’ roll and traditional Irish – a formula which has gained them a hugely dedicated fan-base and formidable live reputation.
Racing kicks off between 5.30pm and 6pm and finishes up in time for the live music to start about 9pm. Leopardstown Racecourse is easy accessible from the Luas green line with dedicated shuttle buses running from the Sandyford stop. Leopardstown is located off exit 14 or exit 15 on the M50 southbound or exit 15 M50 northbound. Ample free parking is available on-site.
